Making a home safer for our seniors is a practical act of love. In Singapore, the Enhancement for Active Seniors (EASE) program provides families with the resources to create a more independent living environment (Agency for Integrated Care [AIC], 2026).
How to Start the Application
01. The HIP Path: If your block is undergoing the Home Improvement Programme (HIP), you can simply opt-in for EASE when you receive your polling notice.
02. The Direct Path: If you aren’t currently in HIP, you can apply directly at any time via the HDB e-Service portal using your Singpass (Housing & Development Board [HDB], 2026).
Understanding Co-payments
The government provides a subsidy of up to 95%. Your small co-payment is based on your HDB flat type:
